Punaruthana – Save Earth to Save Yourselves’ a whole-soul solution is a non-profit organization formed by a group of committed and passionate individuals who have come together to undertake social activities and charitable events which influences the society positively and creates a healthier surroundings & environment.Punaruthana is a budding sprout of an ancient tree – Jeevana Dharma Yoga which is constantly flowering in the principel of the rich and deep ancient Indian scriptures of Vedas and Upanishad guiding us to always walk in the Dharma Marga ( The path of Truth )
Punaruthana’s motto is to Save earth to save yourself and it’s main vision is to restore the lost title “Garden City “ back to Bangalore and eventually spread the awarness all over.It has been regularly conducting Green campaigns by spreading the awareness amongst colleges and corporates and promises to keep going on in the same direction at a greater speed with it’s green work regularly. Apart form saving earth and making it a better place to live the other objectives of punaruthana are to bring back the rishi tradition of learning for a wholesome education for children at physical, mental and spiritual levels, to create self help programmes for women and build a transit home for the elderly.
Recent activities
Punaruthana drove a mass sapling plantation programme “ Go Green day “ on the 29th may 2011 by planting 1,000 saplings in Turahalli forest belt’s unkept area in kengeri, Banaglroe , it encouraged school children, colleges goers and corporates to participate in this programme which was conducted with the support of the forest department , CF Kumar. Pushkar. The event was successful and fulfilling.

On the occasion of ‘ THE WORLD ENVIROINMENT DAY” punaruthana conducted a green walk from Rajarajeshwarinagar to another belt of Turahalli forest / minor forest and planted 1,000 more saplings on the day. The walk saw students from GKVK college, NSS unit, PES, corporates like Emphasis, Textron etc
Blood donation – Punaruthana also conducted a blood donation camp early this year, encouraging youngsters to donate blood and save lives!
